Roatan Island Real Estate

Your questions, answered

What is Roatan Island Real Estate?

Roatan Island Real Estate is a multiple-listing-style directory of homes, condos, land and new developments for sale across Roatan, listed directly by the independent real estate agents who represent them. We are not a brokerage and do not represent buyers or sellers.

How many properties can an agent list for free?

Every agent gets a free profile with up to 10 active property listings — there's no paid tier.

How do I contact the agent for a property?

Open the listing and use "Contact the agent" — your name, contact details and message go to that agent only. You can also answer a few questions to be matched with agents who know the area.

Are the listings verified?

Listings are created by the agents who list them. Roatan Island Real Estate does not verify price, availability, title or condition — confirm everything with the agent, an independent inspection and a local attorney.

Can foreigners buy property on Roatan?

Often yes, though rules and required structures can vary and change — always confirm current requirements with a qualified local attorney before you buy.

What areas of Roatan do you cover?

We cover listings across West Bay, West End, Sandy Bay, French Harbour, Coxen Hole and the East End, including Camp Bay and Oak Ridge.

Is anything here legal, financial or tax advice?

No. Roatan Island Real Estate is educational. Ownership rules, taxes, financing and insurance vary and change over time — talk with a qualified local attorney, tax adviser and insurance professional about your own purchase.
